Yes, I've heard of the hint. And I've got something that might confirm those rumors.
This is seen in a certain place in the original Prime:
Hunter Metroid DS? Doesn't that sound like Metroid Prime Hunters for DS? Note that Prime was released late 2002 in the America's, almost 1.5 years before the DS was even unveiled.
At least there's some new hope Dread will finally launch, as it would be the perfect game to fill the Metroid-gap after MP3.
And yes, I'm very happy with this news.
