those discs that are displayed in the front mirror of the car with expiry date, that is the road tax their cost depends on your engine size, and you must have M.O.T certificate and insurance to get it.
my car's M.O.T certificate expired and the cost of fixing my car so it can pass the M.O.T test and paying the road tax was more expensive then my car it self, the best thing to do was to scrap it or abondon it, i abandoned my car.
