I really can't understand how IGN gave 6.8 to Gundam... and 7.0 to Heavenly Sword... if they want to be harsh (as Edge) why not to treat all games equally? Gundam is a total shit while Heavenly Sword is a masterpiece... (even if you don't find it this way... if you played both games you will agree there is much bigger difference than 0.2)
BTW - all these rankings don't take into account things like : 6 from Edge is more than 7 from IGN... while 9 from Play is less than 7 from IGN and so on...

Assuming Dynasty Warriors Gundam is anything like the rest of the Dynasty Warriors series I can see plenty of reasons it'd get a 6.8.

Length - A Dynasty Warriors game can be beat in a few hours.  However they give you many many characters to beat the game with, each with differing stages and different stories.

Replayability - Dynasty Warriors games always have all sorts of extra items to unlock.

Co-op mode - Dynasty Warriors games are all sorts of fun when playing with another person.

Dynsasty Warriors games don't suck - They don't.  They get repetitive sure, but so does heavenly sword according to reviewers.  The only reason Dynasty Warriors games get bad reviews is because they arn't sports titles.  By that I mean, they change very little from each iteration.  If you think a Dynasty Warriors game is easy try putting it on the hardest difficulty level.  Well okay... they're still easy, but not when compared to other games of this and last generation.

It's Gundam - Gundam is a much more established franchise.  Heavenly Sword is a new unproven IP.  Look at how huge Gundam is and all the stuff that's sprouted off the original show.  Gundam is huge.
