Anyhoo, Kaz said 'played', that's all I'm saying, and I'd like to reserve judgment until we get someone to say 'shipped'.  If someone says '1.3 million shipped', then that's what it is, but he said 'played'.  So sue me.  >_>

Gamespot, NeoGAF, and Kotaku have all quoted him as saying "sold", not "played".

The Gamestop liveblog had it as 'played', as I was reading that when I posted that, and I said that in the Sony CES thread.  He definitely said 'played'.

The liveblog right now says the 1.3 million copies were sold. Kotaku and NeoGAF check out the same way.

Kotaku didn't Liveblog, Neogaf was reporting what Gamespot was saying, and they too said 'played', but when they put the actual liveblog article up, and stopped blogging, it was 'sold'.

But I already proved my point.  IGN caught that he said 'played', which was what I was saying.
