DC had an awesome lineup it's first year, but it's rep was tarnished and Sony was going all Obi-Wan on gamers-
"You don't need the Dreamcast."
"This isn't the console you are looking for."
"You can buy a PS2."
"It'll suck your ****."
Yeah, Sony was slinging some serious PR crap back then. I remember none of my students wanted a DC. They all wanted to wait and get a PS2. Imagine their surprise when there wasn't a decent game for a full year....
