Fanboys be damn, I loved 1up and preferred their reviews more than anyone else. They were not afraid to call BS to a game, no matter how popular or unpopular it was. It wasn't about the numbers, it was about the funny you were going to have with the game or the flaws that makes the game unplayable... I don't have time or money to waste on crap that I won't play because it was "leet" for a moment. Too many times, especially nowadays, editors rush out to post a review to get page clicks. Then there are people who play the game, reflect on it and then give you what they feel worked and didn't. That was 1up, and they will be missed...
Well at least there is still Giant Bomb...
I'm just saying...
