I'll agree with the sentiment of the Opening Poster. Sony is awesome. They make a really nice machine, that has some pretty awesome games. But they're in a pile of shit right now.
They are dead last in the console race, and falling further behind. They are not profitable, and starting to have real problems because of that. And worst of all, their Playstation brand has suffered a terrible blow.
Good games are only going to help so much. They don't need more hardcore awesome games, they need more non-gamer killer-apps, quirky fun stuff like Little Big Planet, and something to make the Playstation brand seem fresh again if they are going to turn the PS3 around.
I really hope they can get back on their feet again.
