I don't like SCEE's habit of merging studios. I like each studio being distinct. They bought Evolution for a reason, because they're a good studio that makes good racing games. Lumping them in with another studio takes away their identity.
I like SCEA's approach much better. For instance, both Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica are based in Santa Monica, and both focus on third person action games, yet they haven't been forced to merge.
I do like the news of SCE helping out SOE. Maybe they won't suck so much now.
