I was mocking the CIA. In simpler terms: oh no, if the CIA supports that Venezuala is supporting FARC, then it must be wrong.

 

Oh, I see what you are saying.  I think we are largely on the same page on this issue... I never put much faith in what the CIA for probably what are the same reasons that you don't.

The CIA has a bias to accomplish certain goals in the globe, and it is RARELY if EVER pro-democratic... hence the reason they are notorious for installing blood-sucking dictators that murder their people... all for the benefit of the CIA.  The CIA wants whats best for their interests at the expense of whomever gets in their way.  Hell, they've been feeding the flames between the PLO & Israelis for years (for the purpose of wearing both parties out?  Who knows really...)

Either way, yes, it is hard to put much stock in a CIA report (so I'm proud to say you and I are in agreement, which is actually quite encouraging!)
