I think we have seen a lot of PS3s potential this year, like the warm rain of VGChartz awards for PS3 games has shown.

I'm sure there will be great PS3 games this year, and I don't doubt GOW3 will be a great game for those who like the franchise... I just don't get the point in hyping titles without even having seen anything about them. It ends up hurting the PS3 in the end more often than not (look at Home).

Perhaps my jab was not needed, but I think it's justifiable... Just tired of hearing about potential when the PS3 already has a good games library. The PS3 more than any other console is the victim of premature hype.

 

Well that's because PS3 owners keep on waiting and waiting for the Chosen One that would lead the PS3 to the Promised Land of Top Selling Current Gen Console.  Don't worry one day they will learn to appreciate the quality games on the console rather than constantly anticipating the game that will take the PS3 from selling 10 million a year to selling 25 million a year.
