The PS2 reached its peak in 2002 .... its (3rd) year on the market, the 360 is entering its 5th (so to speak) and this year it has to be said its looking more likely the 360 will top this years sales over last years. ...

 

Ok, I know you weren't slamming the 360, but these kinds of things crack me up.  360 celebrated the end of its 3rd year on the market on November 21st, 2008.  We are now less than 2 months into the 4th year of its release.  The console is really NOT that old.  Its like calling Hayden Panettiere old because she's not 18 anymore ...

It wil be celebrating its 5th christmas this year if that means anything! Anyway you get the point I'm making? the 360 will peak 2 years later than the PS2.
