This is outrageous.

Copyright law in the US is dreadful. It was mostly rewritten in the 1990s to make it possible for fat, lazy, unoriginal corporate pigopolists to overcharge consumers. Very little money ends up in the hands of creators, it's all about giant monopolies.

Remember, LBP levels aren't being sold for money. There's no money being exchanged and no commercial activity to prosecute. It's about creativity and homage to other creators.

Remember, these are the same $%@%#$ corporate @$#!#@%ers who gave us the Wall Street Bubble, the housing crash, credit swaps and derivatives, the whole neoliberal swindle. They believe in only one thing: We Create, You Pay, and Pay, and Pay, and Pay Some More. If they could abolish the word "share", they would.

What LBP needs is a generalized Fair Use provision - copy anything you want, but you can't sell stuff you didn't create.
