I have all three systems and I just think that Sony had and still has the worst execution of the big three. In addition any opportunity for free PR was marred by promises they couldn't keep. In the end, the system that was supposed to be much more powerful then the 360, is having trouble doing just basic tasks. I am shocked at how poor the menu system is vs XBL. It just seems to me every step of the way Nintendo and M$ are ahead.
The bigger problem is that developers are realizing that;
1. The PS3 is hard to develop for and doesn't have great dev support from Sony.
2. The PS3 is less profitable then the other consoles because they don't have a great userbase.
3. Even if they optimize the code for the PS3's SPU's, the Xbox 360 will always have better graphics because M$ chose a better GPU.
4. Problems 1, 2 and 3 make for fewer games and upset gamers.
I'm actually thinking that if PS3 fanboys tried a 360 for a day, they wouldn't give it back. Its a better console and its cheaper. Thats why the PS3 should be everyones 3rd next gen console.
