I'm sure the fact that Call of Duty 4 was the best damn shooter on the market when it released had nothing to do with it's great sales, 66% of which took palce AFTER the holiday season (and it's still selling).
And I'd expect Killzone 2 to recieve a boost its first holiday season as well.
