Depending. If he got an extended warranty from the store he bought it, he probably can just exchange it for another and have another Xbox connected to his TV in 30 min to an hour like me. If not, then there are other things in life than video games to spend your time on. A week or two without video games is not that big a deal. Especially if you have other game systems or a PC.

All the shops are closed now, it is Minus Temperatures outside, Sure if it was Summer he would have plenty to do, Winter not so much except soccer training. He's having second thoughts about replacing his 360 (He cant play it for extended periods now without thinking of RROD).
