I know that the past wasn't always free from fanboy rant, like Mario vs. Sonic....but it was much more playful compared to the way it is now.
I also know that journalists need to use shabby tactics in order to get people to come to their respective magazine/website rather than other opposing alternatives. However, it just seems to me that they are now crossing the line.
Maybe this is just true for the media world in general; instead of challenging our minds to decide for ourselves what is good for us or what is not good for us, they play towards the lowest common denominator to get the most readers.
I guess that is the sad reality, ain't it?
