This might explain why Nights felt so incredibly rushed: it would definitely explain why Sonic Team's games have generally been crappy lately. If this is true, Sega needs to either disband Sonic Team, or approach them with an entirely new philosophy. But the damage may already be done.

Nights was obviously a rush job, but I'm surprised to hear it was originally being made for the 360 and apparently someone said put on the Wii.

Is constantly shoving so many Sonic games out really that healthy for his image as a mascot? I understand the concern to maintain a market presence, but if the team that's primarily responsible has no passion for it, why force them to keep making it?

This would explain why every recent Sonic game always has some huge detractor from the traditional run around and collect stuff gameplay; the creators want to do something else.
