He did at least adjust the camera angle so it would appeal more to Western gamers, good choice IMO! Regardless, it's still the greatest game I've ever played next to, for me, these games in these genres: Best Fighting: Street Fighter 2/Tekken Best Racing: Ridge Racer/Mario Kart (SNES) Best Survival Horror: Silent Hill/Siren: Blood Curse/Condemned: Criminal Origins Best JRPG: Of course, Final Fantasy VII/Super Mario RPG Best Shooter: Golden 007 (N64)/Gears of War 1 Best Platformer: Little BIG Planet/Super Mario Bros 3 (NES) Best Adventure/Action: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune/MGS4 Best WRPG: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion My personal favorite game(s) of all time, it's a tie: Street Fighter 2 (SNES) & Silent Hill (PS1) Best game I've ever played: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3) Sorry about the life story, just figured I'd give insight into my favs in the gaming industry! |
I loved the MGS4 gameplay, I just wished the cutscenes/story had continued on in the vein of the opening act!
Its definately a piece of work.
Out of those games, I hate fighting games (Need to try brawl though) GT would be my ONLY serious racer along with NFS: U, have to agree 100% on the survival horror but replace Silent hill with RE 1-3 (just) Shooter would be KZ2 and Halo 3 for me, haven't played enough JRPGs but I rate Lost Odyssey highly, platformers would be LBP and Super mario Galaxy, action/adventure would be Fable 2 (Not a serious WRPG for me!) and WRPG would be Might and Magic VII and Baldurs Gate 2.
Tease.
