PS3 is going to be around untill the end of this generation, there is no point for Sony to discuont this product, they still are a major corporation that can afford a massive flop and try to recover their losses to the maximum (not like SEGA which had to do it), the failure of the PS3 might have an impact of eventuall release of PS4 or the charatcter of this console.
