I played this in the arcades in Japan. Not a street fighter fanatic, but from my experiences with the street fighter franchise, I'd say that his game would be the game that they (SF fandom) wants.
From my playtime, it really felt like an upgrade for the series, familiar but at the same time new (might have just been the graphics).
I'm not sure what arcade version I played though (that is, if there are more than one).
I'm not buying this game though (like I said before, not a street fighter fanatic).
