And you can honestly say that all those articles are truly warranted? So are you telling me you have NEVER seen an article on the PS3 that didn't give it the benefit of the doubt as the 360 got? AND there was NO recession during PS2's reign, which the XBOX's life coincided. How were we even remotely having money issues? Gas Prices didnt start to sky rocket until after Next gen had started. The XBOX was already dead by then. |

The primary reason why Sony is facing the blunt of negative press is that it fits into the storyline of the crisis that the media is currently following. The massive losses Sony faces, Sony restructuring, and the failure of the PS3 at market fit nicely into tons of stories about how bad the economy is at the moment.
