However I'm willing to say that I believe people who have HDTV's would be more likely to purchase the Wii than someone who has an SDTV would by a PS3 or 360.

I sure wouldnt have bought my PS3 without a HDTV. Hell, I bought a new HDTV, becuase my old one looked like crap on the PS3, and it didnt have HDMI.
