For the sake of clarification, I posted the article to start discussion. The opinions expressed within it are not necessarily mine.
Personally, I think that 2009 will tell us which direction things go -- BR or DD. Both have obstacles to overcome. For BR, it is HDTV adoption. For DD, it is bandwidth restrictions.
