"I think people actually need to dust off their dreamcast and play some of the games again"
I still play Dreamcast from time to time and I still think that Shenmue is the best game ever made... I preffer Soul Calibur to its sequels, Sonic Adventure it's the best 3d Sonic to date and only a few games are as funny as Power Stone 2 or Jet Set Radio are. Yes, for me Dreamcast is the best console ever above Snes and PS2 (and I love Snes and PS2).
