Okay, I have a PS3 and a Sony Bravia KDL40W2000 LCD TV. I want to get a home theatre 5.1 surround system to use with them and want to stick to Sony (stay with the same brand). Ideally I don't want to get a DVD Surround package as this would mean I need to have another DVD player under the TV, when ideally all I want is the Sky Box and the PS3. I understand that the speakers need some kind of amplifier and normally the DVD surround systems include the amplifier in the DVD player.
One other stipulation is that it is cheap. Ideally I want to pay as near to £100 as possible. One package that I was originally interested in was the Sony DAV-DZ260 which is currently around £130 but I would want to get speaker stands for the front and rear speakers.
Is there any other options for me?
All ideas would be great?
