reading  this article which ign put out only a couple hours ago it seems like they could have rushed their review out..  since they didnt know the game was coming out today.. but its still a very poor score nevertheless

... Did you read the article you linked to? The street date was broken. So the game wasn't coming out today. However sony said if the date is broken may as well sell it, since it is released reviews can now be published without any sort of exclusivity agreement. Notice how nearly all the time the earliest reviews for games are the highest. Argeements are made that if a site/magazine can publish a review earlier than everyone else they will bump the score up a little. Perhaps not written in contract form but definetly agreed on. So basically their review wasn't rushed, it was written ahead of time and they were simply waiting till they could publish it.

Also technically a AAA game is simply a title that has a huge budget and receives heavy promotion at events etc. It has nothing to do with scores. However it seems to have been turned into some sort of score thing.

Using the score logic I would say that none of HS, Lair or warhawk could be called an AAA game. Personally I would say it's 90% and above, although some may disagree and say 85% and above. So far at gamerankings HS is the only one over 85% (it's at 85.3%) and the IGN Uk review hasn't been added yet. I think saying 85%+ is AAA is pretty generous though, a lot of titles achieve over 85%, 90 is the real barrier to break.

If we go by the actual definition I would say Warhawk and HS are definetly AAA games. They were heavily promoted by sony and both had pretty huge budgets.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.
