Don Shiotte, you are extremely biased and (seem to) have a very simplified view but nevertheless I have to thank you for another hilarious “PC is best” thread.
You are the only member who attracts more than 5-10 people to the PC forum and you are the only one who manages to unite console-only gamers of all 3 fractions (“fun console” & “HC-HD consoleA” & “HC-HD consoleB”) in sheer childish PC gaming hate.
Anyway: Good list. Starcraft 2 and The Sims 3 will be megahits in the 5-10(+) mill. range, no doubt. Empire: Total War will be another hit. Diablo 3 won´t come out in ´09. And Gobliiins 4? Big surprise. But why didn´t they name it Gobliiiins?
By the way: Some of the adventures are already out in continental Europe (Mata Hari for example is a disappointment in reviews and I assume in sales as well) and you forgot games like Runaway 3, A New Beginning and Edna & Harvey.
Some of the 2D games look extremely interesting, especially Winterbottom, Machinarium (I loved the developer´s browser adventures) and Fool & his Money (never heard of the latter one before; a fairytale setting?).
