LOL As frustrating as that was with Resistance 2 it feels right to me. The enemies are very much aware of what Hale is doing at all times, and they take him as maximum priority. If you are far away enough the enemies will battle with your comrades. Yet the second you step into the fray, all eyes on you. I think this might actually be a plot device.Hale is the only other Member of SRPA to be infected with "PURE" Chimera. THe Pure are the leaders of the all the other chimera, just like the Angels were. It makes sense for the Chimera to immediately want to stop Hale because he is the biggest threat to them. Or maybe Daelelus told them to make Hale the MAIN priority, to try and get him back on their side. It all makes sense really. Unfortunately this intails many players get swarmed by outrageous numbers of chimera fairly often LOL so much fun!
I think many things Insomniac was going for with this game was over looked or went right over people's head. Like the fact that the story is almost completly told through slight nuances and intel documents. Or that Henry Stillman radio host was a mood setter for the game(really listen to the poor guy, so sad). |
They should have spent less time with subtle story telling techniques and concentrated on things like, I don't know, driving controls. Why the Hell would they make drive forward reload and reverse change weapon!? Hopefully that's another thing they fixed in R2...
Hopefully I'm nearly done with R:FoM, whether by finishing the game or just getting fed up with it, and I can finally start R2 and CoD4 again.
