There's also the thing called "accessibility". I would guess that Master of Orion 3 would be somewhat the "ultimate" TBS on paper, but it's somewhat the shittiest TBS ever. And why is that? All the accessibility have been killed with the amount of micromanagement. It may be a fun game for the first ten rounds the first time you play it, but after that it sucks hard. In the end, subjective opinions don't mean a shit, which of course includes the reviewers too, when we compare it to public opinion. As i said earlier, your opinion is irrelevant when the public opinion is the one who makes the judgement. Your opininion is relevant only when you make a decision to purchase a game/console for yourself. |
