That's too bad. I've had 2 NES' break on me over the years. The first one (originally bought in '87) bit it in about ~'91 and the replacement went sometime in the mid 90's. I always hated the crappy quality of NES systems, having games not start, needing to constantly clean out the system/cartridges, etc.(original ones as I've heard the 2nd revision top loader ones were pretty good)
My SNES from '91 still works great :)
