2 million minimum is a bold prediction. For this to happen the PS3 would not only need 6,000,000/52 = 115,384 per week. It also needs what the 360 averages this year as well. Last year the 360 sold 11,369,543/52 = 218,645. So on average the PS3 will need 334,029 more console sales on average EVERY week presuming the 360 sells at the same rate last year.

Given the fact the 360 should still outsell it until we see a price cut for the PS3, which is at earliest March (next quarter) then the numbers will increase and divide by 44. So realistically it should be more like 6,500,000/44 = 147,727 and average console sales per week = 406,125.
