I say wait until May/June before even thinking about making judgements. Right now it's all looked at through hype glasses. GTAIV got perfect 10s from numerous sites, had plenty of gif topics, rampant orgasms, and now it's frequently bagged as one of the biggest disapointments of 2008.
A game's greatness isn't judged from gifs from previews or even the reviews (though many a fanboys would differ on that one), it's based on the community and what they think of it after the hype has worn off. I'm buying this day 1 because I want some good multiplayer, but I'm not buying into the hype and juicing on myself over gifs. We'll see what people think of it come the end of the year.
