Dragon Qust 10: The Snowball Effect

DQ10.. it won't make a dent... I mean, Dragon Qust =P 10 wont be the change, the change brought in Dragon Quest 10.

I assure everyone here that if the PSP was a proven RPG software moving beast (I'll address the Monster Hunter 2GF guys in a second.) like the DS then it would of appeared on the PSP not the DS.

Square has released two packaged games for the Wii already, Dragon Quest Swords and Chocobo Dungeon, both have done very well for themselves especially Dragon Quest Swords, the demography is vey diverse and they see potential, if they didn't it wouldn't have been announced for the Wii. (If this was just about Install bases I'm certain DQ10 would of been announced for the PS2.) No, Japan centric games with their highest revenue generated in Japan will be on the Wii.) With this new Nintendo video channel going on there and the move of GC games to Wii I see online definetly becoming a big thing in Japan; Nintendo get's it.

Oh also they released another game that sold very well, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: MLAAK, when VGC was doing the estimates it was tracking very high even later on considering VGC didn't start estimating until after Nintendo channels update showing the number of people who play the game. (That regeistered with Nintendo channel)

About Monster Hunter... yea that's a block buster - but the DS sells games for much longer than a PSP, it makes a valid arguement over which platform would have generated more revenue. I'm inclined to say the DS, just looking at NSMB and MKDS for Japan. To my Knowledge DQ9 should be similar to any other DQ in it's golden days when a Mario was released at around the same time, the games should be identicle but still relative to that time in ratio. ^_^

Not saying MH didn't do amazingly well, because it did, and I'm not saying it would of sold more on the DS because it's not on the DS.
