The point isn't that ckmlb is earning credits by posting in the news and what not, it's that there are far worse users on both sides of the fence who are still tolerated and his comment is not really even close to over the line there. I accept and believe in the 1up Wii bias myself and I'm still sick of hearing it, and I'm sure the PS3/360 fans are only more so.

I realise there are far worse offenders, I don't think that was ever in doubt. The fact is though that all of the, shall we say, less cherished posters on this forum aren't mods. Like it or not it's part of your job to set an example. When handing out warnings and in some cases bans for unaccaptable behaviour it can come across a tad hypocritical if there are mods who's behaviour hasn't exactly been squeaky clean.

I still think it's stretching it a lot to complain about sarcasm, much less compare it to trolling. If sarcasm were trolling I would have been banned a long time ago lol. Everyone uses sarcasm, including the other mods. ckmlb was just trying to use it as a way to express his strong opinion.

Also, on him not backing his opinion up yet, give him a bit more time.  He's not been online and he's probably just been doing other stuff.  If he decides not to get into a debate about it, that's his decision, and I'll respect that, but don't assume he has decided not to discuss it yet.
