I think people are over-reacting because of who said it.
If it was anyone else, it would be assumed his posting wasn't trolling... I think he was merely agreeing that 1up has a definite bias (no news here), has already been shown baised in the past, and that it's not worth having another posting about a bad review from them as it's a well established fact and known to most readers of the site already.
Just like people who complain of another wii spotted in the wild threads that pop up every week. We don't need an article every week when 1up does a new review of the latest wii game and gives it below 5/10. (BTW: I seen 3 at a local walmart yesterday when I bough MP3! I should make an effort to stop by today or tomorrow to see if they are still there or not.)
