Ok so last night before bed I turned off the 360, tv, and surround. Then I had to go back out into the living room for something real quick and I noticed that the xbox was on again with the top left quadrant green. I figured that a controller was wedged in between the couch cushions or that one of the dogs stepped on a controller or something. So after checking all of the controllers and seeing that none of them had been turned on I just pushed the button on the console. Like 2 seconds later, it defiantly turns back on again. I'm all WTF thinking about ghosts and shit right. So I did this like 3 times in a row and each time the damn thing kept kicking back on. Then feeling all powerful I yanked the plug and beat it.
This morning I plug it back in and turn it on and everything seems normal....at first. After playing a little Left 4 Dead, my son goes to play Halo online and it keeps signing in a guest. Come to find out it's the same shit as last night, the xbox turns on by itself and automatically signs in my son's account (that's the setting it's on). If I don't turn the controller on fast enough then quadrant one will have my son's account but no controller assigned to it. Then what ever controller I turn on, it gets quadrant 2 and I have to sign on either as a guest or one of the other accounts.
Now this is the first time I have ever even heard of this with the 360. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this.
