While it's good to say your last good-byes to those that you love, my experience it that it's more about closure for those who are left behind, than those that have gone away. Don't feel too bad about not making to the funeral. At least those of us on this forum know that you would've gone if you could. As long as your uncle knew that you loved him, and you know that he loved you, then there is nothing to regret.
