Well another thing about DQX being on Wii is it probably means DQVII Remake (best selling game in the series) and possibly a port of DQVIII (PS2) are coming to the Wii too, so if there's an immediate "impact", that's probably another one.
More RPG-lovin' all around.
I prefer the Wii getting more quirky kinds of 3rd party projects ... I don't *want* the Wii to just have the same kinds of games as the PS3/360 which are over saturated with shooters/sports sims.
I like the MadWorld, Fragile, My Life As a King, HoTD Overkill, Maramusa etc. on the Wii, along with the DQX and MH3. These are as "hardcore" of titles as anything on any other system.
Let the Wii develop its own personality, it doesn't have to be the same thing as the 360. I see the Wii having more in common with the DS or being like a modern version of the NES/SNES.
