I think the OP is pretty much on the money with a few corrections needed.  The PS3 will be more powerful than the Wii Hd and possibly less expensive at the Wii HD's launch in 2010 with the PS3  giving gamers more of the games that they really want at that time and more functionality as well.  And the PS3 will be significantly cheaper than the Nextbox which will probably be coming out in November 2010 and will be home to most of MS's next line of exclusives while the 360 will mainly be relegated to an original xbox status following the release of the 360 ie. it will mainly be a home for third party multi-console shooters, sports games, and the like which will be better on the Nextbox but at a much higher price than what the PS3 will be at at that time.  So without the big technologically advanced cinematic games that will be coming to the PS3 over the next few years being playable on the Wii HD and the lack of exclusives coming to the 360 after the launch of the Nextbox, Sony will definitely be gaining in marketshare as they pave the way for the PS4 which will launch Holiday 2012.
