Oh, they both hope it's coming to at least one of the platforms this generation; it makes both S-E and Disney money.
If it's coming is a given, I'd lean more toward the Wii. Disney has always prided itself on being family-friendly, and, deservingly or not, Nintendo has that reputation. For both KH1 and 2, there was a clear winner that would generate sales, thus, they both went to the PS2. Removing this clarity from the picture leaves some cards on the table. The rest, since these are Disney properties, are in Disney's hand. They will have final say regarding the KH name.
Of course, if S-E insists on the PS3 for power, and can talk Disney into it for more "realizm" (despite the fact that Disney's appearance can be faithfully reporduced on the Wii), then it could appear there, but I consider that to be a much longer of a shot. With the 360 being known for its shooting games, I really don't think it would have any chance of appearing there. The really ugly part comes in, though, where upon my given is not so. If S-E were to insist on the PS3 (which I could see, given their prior "attempts" with the Wii), but Disney insisted on the Wii, I do think they would seperate their ways. (I think Disney would try to shop around the KH name unsuccessfully, and S-E would take the KH engine and make a new game which would flop without the recognition.) And, should the seperation happen, consider the name dead. (Mario RPG, anyone?)
