I notice a concern for many people is ghosting, well, i'd like to add my experience with that.
If a TV has an 8 ms response time, odds are you are going to have severe ghosting on darker areas of the game (to the point where you can't stand it). However, most people illiterate on TV's don't realize that most TV's have a "game mode" option that pretty much makes ghosting a non issue, on 8 ms TV's you have VERY slight ghosting with the feature turned on, you have to really strain your eyes to notice it. on 4 ms TV's it is impossible to notice any ghosting at all (most o your computer monitors are LCD right now, and obviously you have no ghosting issues).
So ghosting should not be a concern for not buying an LCD anymore.
