well to be making as much as nintendo that would do the opposite effect. They would be loosing so much money (profit) no revenue shit. Sure they would have a lot fo PS3 out in the market probably, but its not just Nintendo's hardware that is making them a shit ton of money, its their software numbers every week that is insane.
Heck it seems Nintendo itself (no 3rd parties) sell just as much software as the PS3 if not more.
But I wonder if they would have waited until 2009 ot release a 400$ PS3 with Blu Ray, BC, and more (is it Ram that the 360 owns it in). I think that would have been good. I think that the 360 would have gone the dreamcast route. Where it woudl have been seen as a way too early jump and not ready and people would think the PS3 would be way better in graphics and such because of later release.
It just seems like Sony screwed up and wasted a lot of money on the PS3. The six-axis, the BC no-BC, the harddrive size changes ect.
Heck the thing I think that is also really appealing to the Wii is that ther eis only ONE (1) (Uno) model out there. No constant model changes, upgrades, remodels or price cuts (real, rumored) for it.
