What makes you say that Killzone 2 is overhyped? It's just an assumption based on this stupid "prediction" by GameDaily.
And for the rest of the games you listed, you're using Crazzyman's predictions to generalize those of everybody.
Did people think LBP would be damn good? Yes. Is it? It's in the top five highest rated games this generation, along with GTAIV, SMG, Bioshock, and Twilight Princess. Did people expect it to sell pretty well? Yes. Will it break 3 million and possibly even four million in total sales? Yes. Is it not selling 10 million copies in a week like CrazzyMan predicted it to? No.
As for Haze, it wasn't hype much at all. Those few that were hyping it bailed out when it was delayed from November to May.
Lair had a cool concept, and could've turned out loads better than it did, and I think it deserved the hype based on the concept and pedigree of the developer. Sucks that it was rushed.
I'll give you Resistance 2, and (to an extent) Home. Though the Home hype died over time, as the release seemed further and further off. And it certainly is far different from what either Microsoft or Nintendo are offering.
