I would hate to be a shooter (FPS) fan cause I would be either really broke or have no idea which game to get. They all seem to be the same damn game to me. Quick 6 hour story, where who cares how good AI is getting the bad guys all start in the same spot, so you can have memorized if ever die. And the no to the online, which all have so why get a new game if all your friends still plying the old shooter online.

Hmmm, why do I get the feeling this is exactly the same thing in Mega Man games, or pretty much any other game in the market? o_O

hey I can not like or play or hate FPS's for whatever reason "I" want.  If I was a fan of FPS I would be content having just Halo 3 and COD4 and be fine for the rest of the generation.  Enough still play both and they both a different enough style from another.  

 

But why would I feel the urge to buy COD5 or other games.  Its like buying a new madden, as long as the roster updates still in old games why buy a new one.  Every football season I have the urge to play a madden game cuase in the football mode, but i have learned to stop those urges cause I know a few days after i buy it i'm thinkin "why did i spend 60 dolalrs on a game i already have"

Look, you said they all looked like the same game, and then you said that one reason was the fact that enemies always spawn in the same place, so you "memorize" the game. That's what I found silly, because that's what happens in pretty much every game anyways.

By the way, COD5 > COD4 for many reasons (it must mean there's something "new" in the game that the developers incorporated or "upgraded" from the past iteration that I liked, eh?), but that's for another discussion! =P
