2009 sucks..

Spent the end of 2008 at an accident scene where 3 people died. Kicked off 2009 all alone in my patrol car. 1st person I saw this year was a drunk guy who's cell phone could only call 911, so he kept calling 911 until I locked him up. Had to go to a club and break up a 5 man fight at 3am because people don't have any fucking sense. I went home at 5:20am to try and fall asleep. Turns out, the gas station 10 minutes from my house was getting robbed while I was trying to sleep. Was supposed to get off work at 6:30am, but had to investigate (review video, talk to witnesses, canvass neighboring residents, talk to suspects) until 9am. My "girlfriend" went to celebrate new years with her friends, and didn't even call me to say "Happy New Years!" until noon. I promptly told her that I have a date tomorrow (and I don't REALLY have one.....yet) and it wasn't her. And I go to work in two hours, but I've only gotten five hours of sleep so far. My internet bill is due today, but I blew all of my money on Christmas presents. The amp in my car died today, and I can't listen to any music. The heater in my police car stopped working last night. 2009 is gonna rock.

 

My friend and roommate will start his policetraining in April we presume... we were already mocking him for probably being on the job this time next year.

Also, please don't game on new-years eve. Even if you can't go out (which you should try irregardless), start celebrating with family.
