How often does Sony promote specific PS3 exclusive games on TV?

i dont think they could have afforded to have it playing constantly on all the tv channels...which is the only scenario that could be considered "heavy" to the amount that it had been advertised.

they even had full page newspaper ads.

 

AFAIK, that wasn't a widespread ad campaign but only one that was focused locally (Ireland if I'm not mistaken).  Many on this site have complained that that ad should've been done elsewhere as well.

 

perhaps for the newspaper ads...but not the tv commercials.

 

tv commercial... many here too have said they haven't seen a R2 commercial at all (neither have I over here).  That ad is pretty good, but I only knew it because I had seen it here...
