I've heard that $60 - $100 is the upper limits of most peoples impulse purchases, with $20-30 being a more typical figure -- Furby was around 30 if I remember corectly. Now some people will blow 250 to get a tickle me elmo or the like, but it can hardly account for hundreds of thousands, let alone millions, in sales.
