i built a computer about 3 years ago now, and it plays some new games still.
I built another one about 3months ago, and have no idea when it will get maxed out. Mind you I didn't spend $500 but way more. Mainly cause I've NEVER owned a high end gfx card before so I took the bite and did it this time around.
