I don't see it happening ...
What people don't understand is that PC gamers are probably not going to (all of a sudden) give up PC gaming in favour of a console any time soon; they have had the option since the NES and have not decided to give up their PC rig yet. The graphic whores are probably not going to give up their 1920x1440 monitor that plays fear at a steady 120 frames per second with 16xAA and 16xAF to play it on the PS3 at an amazing 1280x720 at 30 fps with 8xAA and 4xAF; MMO players are not going to accept their game chunking when they encounter a raid group because they're on stagnant hardware when they can play it fluidly on a bleeding edge PC; and the linux geek/technophile group will not give up their infinite ability to tinker with and adjust their PC to start working on a closed platform.
