IF the new multiplayer modes in this feature more deathmatch style modes, then it needs to be considered as competition for Killzone 2. 4. Damnation. Codemasters doing a FPS. If you consider Gears of War as in the same area as Halo, Resistance, and Killzone, then this counts. 5. Rogue Warriors. Based upon the best-selling novel. This is being published by Bethesda. 6. F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin. Yes, the sequel to the original FEAR is due out. My seeing the preorder box at Best Buy, after reading comments on here how Killzone 2 will have "no competition" earlier, was a motivation for seeing else is due out.

No FPS at all (AKA COD hookers). None of the games you mentioned drive the masses towards multiplayer gaming as a AAA FPS does, and none of them appeals to the COD fanatic as KZ2 will.
